Summer EBT is Back for 2025!

Summer EBT is Back for 2025!

We’re excited to share that Summer EBT (SEBT) is returning to help families buy groceries while school is out! Each eligible school-aged child will receive a one-time $120 benefit on an Oregon EBT card to support summer nutrition needs.

Who qualifies?

Many families will get SEBT automatically—especially if your child received SNAP, TANF, Medicaid (with income under 185% of the federal poverty level), was in foster care, or attended a school offering free/reduced meals.

Need to apply?

If your child attends a school that participates in the National School Lunch or Breakfast Program and you meet the income guidelines, you may need to apply.

Key Dates:
  • Now: Paper applications are available in 10 languages at sebt.oregon.gov

  • May 23: Automatic benefits begin issuing

  • May 30: Online application opens

  • Sept. 3: Application deadline
